Hours:  25 hours per week includes some nights and weekends


Salary Range:  $12.00 per hour.  Benefits include retirement plan and paid time off


Job Description:  We’re looking for a service oriented individual who is keenly interested in helping position the library as the central community resource for information, technological and research assistance.   As information coordinator, the successful candidate will eagerly assist library members in finding books and other library materials, using library resources, troubleshooting technology ( including tablets and eReaders), and researching local history and genealogy.  


Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; at least two years’ experience working in a related field. Must be adept in the use of office and library technology, with excellent computer skills, and experience downloading digital materials on a variety of devices.  The ability to deal with the pressures of public service work in a busy environment is essential. The successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills and a cheerful demeanor.  Proficiency in both oral and written communication, and the ability to work with a diverse staff and patron population is imperative. Evening and weekend availability is required.
