The
Oakland University Libraries seek a highly dependable, resourceful
part-time librarian to provide general reference service to our users
and library instruction to first-year students, and to contribute to
various library projects as assigned.
Hours and salary: Includes weekday, evening and weekend shifts. Starting salary: $20 per hour, approximately 20 hours per week.
Qualifications: Required:
ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent with a strong orientation towards
teaching and public service; prior experience providing reference
service.
Desired: Library instruction experience, preferably in an academic library setting.
