Marjane Satrapi's "Persepolis" is outstanding for older teens!

"A memoir of growing up as a girl in revolutionary Iran, Persepolis provides a unique glimpse into a nearly unknown and unreachable way of life... That Satrapi chose to tell her remarkable story as a gorgeous comic book makes it totally unique and indispensable." - Time

Dear Librarians,

We are developing our graphic novel section of the library for junior and young adult books. I would appreciate a suggestion of your most popular series. We have Pokemon, Bone and a few others. We don't have a lot in the budget so I have to spend wisely. Your suggestions are most appreciated.
