Hi all!

It was so much fun doing a video collab for Summer Reading last year and I wanted to put the idea out there (this time super early) that we do it again this next SRP; what do you think? Last year we did a general summer reading video and a Youth-specific one, along with a fun "I'm a librarian, of course I...." TikTok trend. When the final versions of the videos are ready, we can put them in the shared Google Drive so you can add them to your socials!

Any library that would like to participate is welcome to join in (which was originally inspired by the awesome Freedom to Read video ). Here's one of the videos we did last year specifically for youth. This is the general one!

I am an "intermediate" video editor and can get busy so if anyone would like to help with editing the recordings that would be amazing. Last year, I did the two SRP videos in TikTok; you can save the video as a draft without the watermark before posting it on TikTok and it can then be published as a Reel or Story or video! But I know there are ongoing issues concerning TikTok and its deletion, so there is more video editing software out there we can use.

--> Feel welcome to fill out this Google Form. :)

I am sharing this with Michlib-L and my consortium, TLN. If any other consortium would like to share, too, you're welcome to as I don't have those emails.
