From what I've learned it was developed through READsquared <http://www.readsquared.com/services.aspx>. I liked some parts of it but TADL has a similar app that is free on Open Source. Click here <https://github.com/tadl/summer_reading > for a link. The TADL app is written in Ruby & Javascript - feel free to send any questions my way regarding how we use our online SRC database.
