On February 2nd, BPL had the pleasure of hosting local author Scott Ellsworth for a talk about his last book *Midnight on the Potomac: The Last Year of the Civil War, the Lincoln Assassination, and the Rebirth of America. *Scott was great! Knowledgeable, conversational, personable, and engaging. He was easy to work with and keep in contact. The event drew 20 attendees despite the blistering cold that evening. His fee was $350.
