Willard Library in Battle Creek will host award-winning writer Jack Gantos at
6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at the Miller Stone Building, 77 Capital Ave. NE. The author of books for readers of all ages, from picture books and middle-grade fiction to novels for young adults and adults, will discuss his writing and his life. His works
include "Hole in My Life," the Joey Pigza series, and the Rotten Ralph series.
