Well friends, April 30th sure snuck up!  Tomorrow is Día!

ALSC wants you to know:

Día is a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children from all backgrounds. It is a daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages and cultures. Each year, libraries and other organizers host gatherings to celebrate. Although the celebrations will look different now, there are always ways to celebrate the special connection between children and books.

Share what your library is doing to #sharebookjoy while keeping safe distances. You can still register any of your virtual Día program on our Día registry and visit our website for resources including booklists, posters, and other program materials you can use virtually.

Booklists & images for social media are available: http://dia.ala.org/content/free-program-downloads
