Hello, The library of Michigan is seeking youth services public library staff to volunteer on our Youth Services Advisory Council (YSAC). If you are interested in serving for the next 2 years, please complete the following survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YSAC18. YSAC Volunteers will be responsible for: * Compiling a selection of book finalists for the Ready to Read Michigan book program * Assess ongoing needs in the areas of youth services (providing ideas such as webinar topics, workshops, etc.) * Develop & present on an annual Summer Reading webinar * Assist in the sharing of Library of Michigan initiatives, such as sharing on library's social media or peer-to-peer. * Offer feedback on MeL Databases for Youth & Teens * Other tasks specific to promoting & serving youth services throughout the state YSAC meets once-a-quarter, or as needed, with the option to telecommute.
