The Quincy Branch of the Branch District Library System offers laminating for $1.00 up to an 8 1/2x11 size, $2.00 for anything up to a posterboard size.

We let the patrons know it takes the machine 20-30 minutes to warm up and they are welcome to wait or come back for the item.

We have no form, and no policy in place if the item is damaged.

Please email me off list if you offer laminating services for patrons. I am looking to find out some of the following logistics:

 

Do you charge a fee for laminating? (Flat cost, $/ft, etc)

If a patron needs something laminated, do you laminate it that day or wait until a later date where you batch the jobs together?

Does the patron fill out any sort of form?

What would happen if the patron’s item was damaged?

 

Please let me know if there is anything else I should know that I have not considered.
