At one point we had teens sign in for the event and followed up by calling their parents. Asked them to pick up their unruly kids. Banned them. Also called in the police to talk to them and their parents. ----- Original Message ----- From: mdewley@brandonlibrary.org To: michlib-L@mcls.org Sent: Sat, 11 Jun 2016 13:54:14 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [Michlib-l] No Subject Hello Everyone! I'm looking for suggestions on how to deal with unruly teens who aren't interested in volunteering or even passive programming. I also used to allow them access to snacks when other teen programs were going on, but they have been very disruptive and rude to those teens who are actually there for the events, so I stopped doing this.
