We want them to just pay the list price of the book when we purchased it – so I can either buy a replacement – or buy something else that is needed. The list price is not what we paid – but it covers the cost of processing it. If it is something I still want and I know it is readily available much cheaper than what we paid before – I am sometimes reluctantly willing to allow them to replace it and not pay list price– but we do the ordering so that I know I am getting the right edition and format – and I still charge them a $5 processing fee.
