First, don’t panic. From the CDC - Studies show that about one in three (33%) people carry staph in their nose, usually without any illness. Two in 100 people carry MRSA. There are not data showing the total number of people who get MRSA skin infections in the community. Normal sanitation for colds and influenza will deal with staph. There are dry anti bacterial sprays. Saniguard Antibacterial Dry Spray is one. ½ cup bleach to a gallon of water works for a sanitizing solution. Clean up for far worse bacteria utilizes one part bleach to ten parts water. I would suggest that this is a question that should be directed to your county health department. MRSA is a reportable disease. They should already know who in the community has it and if they are a threat to others.
