Loutit District Library seeks two (2) organized and energetic
individuals to work 24 or 30 hours per week in the Reference &
Information Department. These positions both involve extensive work with
the public in answering questions, recommending books, and assisting
with computers. The primary function of the positions include reference
and reader's advisory services, assisting with programs, and collection
development. These positions include evenings and weekends. A bachelor's
degree or equivalent experience, computer proficiency, and flexible
schedule required. Public library experience preferred. Proficiency in a
language other than English preferred. Hourly rate for both positions
is $16 per hour.
