The Gloria Coles Flint Public Library is seeking applications for the position of Youth Services Intern.
This position may qualify for academic credit, coordinated between the intern, the department supervisor, and the student’s academic institution.
- Assist with planning and support of library programs and outreach events
- Observe, learn and help in each department of the library to gain a full understanding of library service opportunities and explore interests for career options
- Participate in hands-on library work including material organization and customer service
- Provide reference and reader’s advisory services for children and families
