Greetings! Last evening, Governor Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-43, "Temporary Restrictions on the uses of places of public accommodations - rescission of Executive Order 2020-20." EO 2020-43 replaces and extends EO 2020-20, which closed places of public accommodation (such as libraries)and, among other things, required restaurants to provide food via takeout or delivery only. EO 2020-43 extends these measures until April 30, 2020 at 11:59pm. This move is in keeping with the extension of the "stay at home" order until April 30, 2020, at 11:59pm by Executive Order 2020-42 To sum, Executive Order 2020-43, released this morning, extends the closure of places of public accommodation (including libraries) until April 30, 2020 at 11:59 pm.
