The Jewish Community Center's Henry & Delia Meyers Library is sponsoring a Book Art Workshop and Tour of the Janice Charach Gallery on Thursday, August 24 at 1 p.m. Meet at 1 p.m. for a tour of "Fabric of Survival: The Art of Esther Nisenthal Krinitz at the gallery, followed by Book Art that Tells a Story, where you'll use text and art to create a journal unique to you, at 1:30 p.m. Taught by Kerry Yaklin, MFA (book arts instructor at Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center and painter).
