I asked a similar question last week. I am in the process of compiling the replies that were graciously shared. I will be happy to share with the list. Anne E. Oyerly Special Collections Manager and Facilities Coordinator James White Library 4190 Administration Drive Andrews University, MI 49104-1400 (269) 471-6117 From: Michlib-l <michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org> On Behalf Of Kay Hurd via Michlib-l Sent: Wednesday, January 27, 2021 1:24 PM To: MICHLIB-L Listserv <michlib-l@mail.mcls.org> Subject: [Michlib-l] Quarantining and cleaning materials CAUTION: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. The question has been coming up in my library about quarantining and sanitizing returned materials to the library. We are still quarantining 72 hrs., and wiping items that have a plastic or vinyl covering with a sanitizing cloth before re-shelving. Are other libraries still following a similar procedure? If so, would you mind sharing? Thanks so much! Kay Hurd Director Almont District Library 213 W. St. Clair P.O.
