Job Description

The Financial Clerk is responsible for providing assistance to the Financial Manager in basic bookkeeping duties. This may include preparing payroll, preparing purchase orders for librarians, maintaining the cash drawer, ordering supplies, and processing paperwork for new hires at the Branch District Library.
Education, Experience, and Training
· Required: High School Diploma.
o Must have a basic ability to work with numbers accurately and understand verbal and written instructions, such as would be acquired in four years of high school or equivalent.
o
Proficiency in MS Excel
· Preferred: Bookkeeping experience at a library or similar organization.
o Knowledge of QuickBooks for Nonprofits is a plus.
Hours Required
This is a part time position for 21 hours per week. The work schedule includes some nights and weekends.
Compensation
Wage range is $10.91 - $13.95, depending on qualifications and experience.To Apply
