Anderson Public Library Anderson, Indiana Job Title: Teen Services Coordinator Description/Responsibilities: Are you a passionate and innovative librarian who enjoys working with teens? The Anderson Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic Teen Services Coordinator to lead and manage the day-to-day operations and staff in our Teen Services Department. As the Teen Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful programming, curating relevant collections, and overseeing the Teen Services staff, all under the guidance of the Children’s Services Manager. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to plan and participate in outreach events focused on teens, manage the teen space, and develop engaging activities. Working closely with the teen staff, you will establish, recruit for, and oversee a Teen Services Committee composed of local teens. You will utilize your leadership skills as you work in partnership with the Children’s Services Manager to select Teen Staff. You will also offer training and support for the Teen Services team. You’ll have the chance to use your exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills as you assist customers and attend public speaking events within the community.
