United for Libraries is offering a FREE during the ALA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., and would like to know your experiences with books and materials challenges. Please take a few moments to fill out to help frame the workshop content.

Join United at ALA Annual for a FREE preconference, educational events, author programs, and more

 

United for Libraries is offering a FREE during the ALA Annual Conference in Washington, D.C., and would like to know your experiences with books and materials challenges. Please take a few moments to fill out to help frame the workshop content.

 

The preconference workshop, "," will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, 1-4 p.m.

 

This workshop will help library Trustees, Friends, and Foundations to develop a framework of responses to intellectual freedom challenges. Topics include becoming familiar with varying viewpoints, working with your library to customize responses to difficult questions and situations, and educating the public.

 

This is an in-person program at the Washington Convention Center; attendees may register for the preconference workshop without registering for the ALA Conference.

 

In addition to the free preconference, United for Libraries will be presenting 15+ events, including:
