Subject: [Michlib-l] Sample Device Liability Waver

Do any libraries out there use liability wavers before trying to fix or set up a patron’s device?  That is, if someone comes into the library and asks for help setting up their iPad to download electronic books, does anyone have a waver they must sign relieving the library of all liability should the device be dropped or in any other way damaged?

This was a question that came up recently, and we are researching different options.

Thank you in advance.
