For our club, I always lay out different printables from the official Pokemon website and allow kids to bring cards to play the trading card game or show to other kids. I also always plan an organized activity, and typically alternate between crafts and games each month. Favorite crafts have been Pikachu bead buddies, origami Pokemon, Ditto slime, Pokeball launchers and shrinky dink keychains. For games, my kids love playing these (especially the zoom one), Pokemon Pictionary, scavenger hunts and bingo. I've been running my club for about a year and a half and it's always a blast!

Happy Wednesday!

If your library hosts a pokemon club, I would love to hear what activities you have for your club!

Our library currently has it set up as a self-run club, where kids can bring any pokemon related stuff they have and hang out with fellow pokemon trainers. We also provide boxes of cards that kids can choose from to keep each time the club meets.

I am looking for any suggestions on things to add to our club! What has worked for your library's pokemon club?

Thanks,
Taylor
