Registration is open for “Wellbeing for Libraries: Empowering Yourself and Others,” an engaging three-hour virtual workshop from Midwest Collaborative for Library Services on Thursday, December 3, from 1-4 pm Eastern (noon to 3 pm Central). This workshop explores concepts of flexibility, autonomy, respect, and work-life harmony. You’ll have the opportunity to consider how to make positive changes in your work life; empower yourself and those around you to boost their productivity, cultivate resilience, and thrive at work; and begin to build a culture of wellbeing at your library. This highly participatory workshop will include group activities, individual reflection, discussion, and hands-on practice designed to turn knowledge into action.
This workshop will be held on Zoom and facilitated by MCLS Library Strategist Jenny Kobiela-Mondor. It is worth 3 contact hours for professional development, and is eligible SCECHs for Michigan school library staff.
Register here, or visit store.mcls.org for more information and to see all of MCLS’s workshop offerings.
