
Hello All, We will be getting a drive-thru window added to our library in the next couple of weeks. I was hoping to get some procedures/policies from other libraries that already have a drive thru windows. Our window will be located quite a ways away from our "Holds Room" and our circulation desk. How do you staff it? Do patrons make an appointment? Do patrons call ahead so their holds can be ready to go at the drive thru window? Do staff members "run" back and forth whenever the call button is pushed and to retrieve patrons holds? Please reply offline and I will compile the answers.
