As part of the Member Engagement team, you will support MCLS outreach, marketing, and professional development and provide administrative assistance to other MCLS employees. Characteristic duties include compiling the semi-annual workshop calendar, securing venues for workshops, troubleshooting registration problems, promoting workshops and other MCLS services, and assisting team members with scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence. This position requires 1-3 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment. An Associates Degree is preferred. The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with experience in project management and event planning, who feels comfortable juggling multiple priorities. A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow defined process steps are keys to success in this job. You must have the ability to analyze information, problem solve, and take action. In addition, this position requires you to work both independently and collaboratively across the organization. A good working knowledge of web-based applications, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and outstanding verbal/written communications skills are essential.
