The Michigan Department of Education has established 10 Birth to Five Literacy Network Hubs across the state of Michigan with the support of Preschool Development Grant Birth to Five (PDG B-5) resources. These hubs are designed to be community collaboratives to support families and provide engagement in birth-to-five literacy. Public libraries are encouraged to participate with their regional hub. Please see the first Literacy Support Network Hub Newsletter for Hub Highlights, resources, and more. Feel free to reach out to your regional hub contact to introduce yourself and share your library’s early literacy programming and to widen outreach efforts.

Thank you,
