Hello:

Due to the  Court of Appeals ruling on Thursday January 26, 2023 in Mothering Justice v. Attorney General https://www.courts.michigan.gov/48ffb3/siteassets/case-documents/uploads/opinions/final/coa/20230126_c362271_62_362271.opn.pdf , which overruled the earlier Court of Claims decision, the changes in minimum wage and sick leave set to start February 19, 2023, will not be implemented.

Because it is uncertain if or when any changes to these laws will be implemented, pending a possible Michigan Supreme Court appeal, or legislative action, we are canceling the Webinar with Mike Blum scheduled for this Friday, 2/3/2023 at 10:00am.

If this situation changes, and the Michigan Supreme Court or the Michigan Legislature amend the existing laws, we will present a webinar at that time.

Thanks for your understanding in this unusual situation!

Sincerely,

Clare
