MLA 2024 Youth Literary Awards

Michigan Library Association has announced the winners of the MLA 2024 Youth Literary Awards! The Mitten, YouPer, and Thumbs Up! Awards recognize outstanding contributions to youth literature and celebrate the best titles for children and teens published in 2023. See their full listing of award winners online.

 

Free “What Is the First Amendment?” Book Poster

The members of the Freedom to Read Foundation Education Committee, in conjunction with colleagues at Penguin Random House, are sharing “What Is the First Amendment” book posters with libraries. Head to their site to request one.
