Kalamazoo Public Library Has Canceled All Programs Until Further Notice

Kalamazoo, MI, Thursday, March 12, 2020. Kalamazoo Public Library (KPL) considers the health and safety of our patrons and staff a top priority. Due to the recent confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan and the recommendation from Governor Gretchen Whitmer to avoid meeting in large groups, starting today, Kalamazoo Public Library is canceling all programs until further notice. All public use of meeting rooms and community rooms from outside organizations is also canceled until further notice.

For those who are limiting their exposure by staying home but still wish to use library services, remember that KPL offers a large variety of digital options including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eVideos, eMusic and eMagazines. Our website, kpl.gov is our online branch and it never closes.

Any information regarding further disruptions to library services will be posted on our website kpl.gov as well as on our social media pages. For more information on how to reduce your risk to exposure of COVID-19, please visit kpl.gov/covid19.
