Jessica - My library in West Virginia used the Little Free Library movement as a community building and outreach tool. Members of the community built little libraries and donated them to the library. We displayed them in an art contest and then installed them throughout the county as outreach for the library. It was a wonderful experience, and they are being used with great enthusiasm! I think the positive press and raised profile for the library in the community will have a far-reaching effect on public support and use of the public library, and there has been no drop in circulation as a result, so far.
