This free webinar will empower all federal student loan borrowers with an overview of online tools and resources for managing personal student
loans during the uncertain times of COVID-19. Attendees will learn about options made available under the CARES Act and strategies for lowering monthly federal student loan payments after COVID-19 stimulus assistance ends. Electronic tools for helping patrons
enroll to lower payments and helping public service workers maintain eligibility for student loan forgiveness programs will be discussed. The webinar will conclude with personal stress-management and coping techniques to use when feeling triggered by debt.

Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

Identify changes made available to student loan borrowers offered by the CARES Act and heightened impact of student loans; and

Utilize stress management techniques for self-care in addressing anxiety triggered by debt.

Kyra Hahn successfully transitioned to a career
in public library service sixteen years ago and is currently a youth librarian at Multnomah County Library in Portland, OR. She is a conference presenter, writer, and advocate for student loan forgiveness programs and equity/diversity/inclusion. Kyra is the
creator and moderator of the Facebook group Librarian4PSLF, providing support and research on evolving student loan forgiveness program policy. She is a member of Black Caucus of ALA (BCALA), Asian/Pacific American Librarians Association (APALA), and serves
as recording secretary for the Colorado Black Library Association, an affiliate of BCALA.

Matt Amory is a librarian at the Canton (MA)
Public Library. After failing to survive as an actor, a database support worker, and an IT project manager, Matt settled into a late-life career as a public librarian and union activist. He is treasurer of the Massachusetts Library Staff Association, and a
