Vailey Oehlke, Director of Libraries at the Multnomah County Library, is a candidate for PLA President 2015/16. I encourage you to support her in her candidacy as she has a demonstrated commitment to public libraries, large and small, and their future as critical community assets. In addition to leading a well regarded library on the west coast, she has been deeply involved in work on behalf of public libraries across the country that is important to their continued relevance.
