It is with great sadness we announce the news that our former director, Kathy Hepker, has passed away. Kathy was director here for 35 years, from 1977-2012. She was very supportive of all things Rural Library and served on some of the committees back in the formation of our conferences. It was very important to attend advisory council, Mahoney workshops and Rural Library Conferences to glean all the information we can to build better libraries. She had tales to tell of Roger and Bryon...and how everything always worked out. She is the reason our library is looked to in our community for reference, resource and all things information. She was on Chamber, Kiwanis, Women's Club, Friday Club, Red Hat Society, Hudson Museum Board, Hudson School Board and the Hudson Foundation.
