The Library of Michigan is launching a new program to support libraries' efforts to provide quality services and programming in their communities. A major element of excellent service is empowering library staff to learn and implement new skills and best practices. The new Librarian Continuing Education program helps by providing funding for library staff continuing education.
Michigan public, academic and school library staff are eligible to apply for continuing education stipends. The program details and criteria are available on our website

You will find program criteria, application questions, timeline and the link to the online application on this page.
Staff from eligible libraries may apply at any time and may request from $200 to $1,500. Requests will be reviewed each quarter as listed in the program criteria and timeline.
