Essentially, it's MeLCat In-Person and it provides the ability for a library to offer reciprocal borrowing on the spot to patrons of other MeLCat libraries. If you would like to find out more attend the webinar scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15 from 10-11 EST. This webinar is open to any Michigan library wanting to know more about MeLCats Visiting Patron service. Visiting Patron, also known as Reciprocal Borrowing, is an optional service provided by MeLCat to give patrons of participating libraries the option to get immediate access to the materials they need. The policies and general procedures of the Visiting Patron service will be discussed in this session.
