Hello there,

Last night our library hosted Andrew Kercher, an historian with the Port Huron Museums,
for a presentation on the lightships, their role in the Great Lakes maritime history, and the history of the HURON LV-103 specifically.

The Huron is a museum ship that is open to the public, and they are also a MAP participant;
although admission to the Huron is currently FREE to the public.

Andrew was a great and informative speaker, easy to work with, and was well-received by our patrons.

He also does presentations on a variety of other topics as well, including: the automotive industry, MI shipwrecks, MI lighthouses, architect Albert Kahn, inventor Thomas Edison, etc.
See his website for more info:  https://kercher.info/bookings-%26-topics

Thanks,
