You were recently contacted about the upcoming discontinuation of CapiraCurbside. At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, it became crucial for OCLC to adapt and find innovative ways to continue serving libraries while ensuring public safety. CapiraCurbside was designed in 2020 to meet this urgent need, providing a convenient and contactless solution for libraries to continue lending their materials to patrons. 

As the world has slowly emerged from the pandemic, we’ve observed a significant shift in library preferences and behaviors. With the availability of in-person services again, the demand for CapiraCurbside has considerably declined. After careful consideration and analysis, we have made the decision to discontinue CapriaCurbside on March 31, 2025.
