Are you curious how other libraries are transforming their spaces to meet the changing needs of their patrons? Three Midwestern libraries have melded innovation and education creating distinct spaces for children, teens and the technologically curious.

As part of the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services' annual meeting on October 4 in Indianapolis Indiana there will be a panel discussion from managers from these three libraries who have successfully integrated a Third Place. Orvella Fields from Indianapolis Public Library will present on the "Learning Curve"; a creative space introducing children to technology. Joining the panel will be Steve Teeri,  Conductor at the Detroit Public Libraries’ “HYPE” Teen Makerspace. Completing the panel will be CJ Lynce, Manager at the Cleveland Public Library’s “TechCentral”; an innovative technology and learning center.
