Our library will be undergoing a renovation in the near future. We are at the very beginning stages and I was wondering if anyone had any resources to help us find out how much shelving, books, media, etc our library actually needs for our community. We currently have a LOT of shelving but will losing a good bit as we add meeting rooms, a maker space, etc. We are working with a designer, but as they aren’t a library specific designer they do not provide this service.

Any resources you could point me to would be incredibly helpful.
