The Portland District Library is seeking a part-time library clerk.  Duties include checking books in and out, processing books, helping patrons meet their information needs, and other tasks that go along with working in this busy library.  The successful candidate must enjoy working with the public, have a friendly and positive attitude, and be computer literate and attentive to detail.  Applicants must be 16 years of age or older, and have a high school diploma.

 

The hours of work for the position will be:

·        Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:45am – 4:00pm

·        Wednesdays from 4:00pm – 8:15pm

·        Fridays from 8:45am – 5:15pm
