Our library hosted Alethea Davenport of Pewabic Pottery of Detroit last night.

She presented a history and overview of Pewabic Pottery, which was well-attended by our patrons--especially as there are 2 local arts organizations in our area.

The speaker also brought samples of Pewabic Pottery to display, along with plenty of info. on how to become a member, tour their facility, or take classes there.  They even brought a variety of coloring sheets.

If you've not already had them out, I'd definitely recommend hosting this long-time & beloved organization at your library in the future.
