Good morning Michlib-L, I am writing to send a reminder invite to register for this year's FREE annual TLN Spring Workshop , to be conducted virtually via TLN 's Zoom account: "Making It Work: Finding The Right Makerspace For Your Library." We have a little less than 3 weeks to go before the big day, Monday, May 17 from 9am-1pm! There will be three panels of presenters sharing information on their solutions to makerspaces, both mobile and permanent installations. We wanted to make this available to any library/librarian interested in learning about, investing in, and starting a makerspace, and because it's virtual, it makes it easily accessible! We normally hold this annual workshop in-person at a TLN library and charge a nominal fee, so this may or may not be the only time we do this; future free and virtual workshops are to be determined.
