As summer planning moves into a higher gear now that it’s less than 6 months away for many of us, we have a couple
updates to our online manual to bring to your attention. You should be able to link to these items below by logging in with your online manual code, provided when you purchased the manual or by your state
rep.
Finally, we have some Canva templates to share this year. You will need at least a free level account with Canva.com in
order to customize these templates:

New Merchandise Now Available!
Here at CSLP, we’re always utilizing the ideas of our membership to keep our merchandise fresh and engaging for libraries.
We have a new slogan for some of our year-round merchandise! Our Theme
and Slogan Committee came up with some wonderful options, but finally voted on Libraries are Life! We think this slogan captures the vitality and richness that libraries offer their communities, not to mention the nod to lifelong learning. You
will first see this slogan embroidered on our ball caps and beanies which will be available now at shop.cslpreads.org.
We will be transitioning from the slogan, Love My Library (which we can no longer use), to Libraries are Life! The new slogan will be featured on more apparel as we move through 2024, so keep an eye out for these to add to your collection of library wear.

Who thinks them up? How we select each year’s slogan?
Each year CSLP seeks feedback from library staff for future summer slogan and theme suggestions. Libraries from across the nation also contribute, and together, we come to consensus. Now is your time to be heard! Please complete this
brief survey to suggest a slogan for the 2027 theme of Mystery/Detective/Suspense and a fresh, new theme for 2028.

--Inclusive, accessible, applicable across settings
