• Seven Answers to Seven Weeding Questions: Deciding how to weed your library's collection can be daunting. Decisions about criteria and policies are important to address to provide guidance and clarity to staff. Holly Hibner, Adult Services Coordinator, and Mary Kelly, Adult Services Librarian from the Plymouth (MI) District Library are helping us explore this topic by answering seven weeding questions posed by participants in the Small Libraries Create Smart Spaces project. 
• Where Teens and Technology Meet (self-paced course): HOMAGO (Hanging Out. Messing Around. Geeking Out) is an exploratory learning approach that has been used successfully to engage youth. The Howard County Library System's HiTech Digital Media Lab applies innovative teaching methods based on HOMAGO, demonstrating that teens learn most effectively through hands-on projects and peer-to-peer communications.

IFLA believes that the challenges facing the library field from ever-increasing globalization can only be met and overcome by an inclusive, global response from a united library field. By joining us for this webinar, you can participate in this global discussion to identify future challenges and opportunities facing the library field and help to prioritize actions that a united and connected library field can take.
