Hello all,
Visiting my
local library’s homepage recently I was pleased to see the MeL.org logo and link, and MeLCat 10 year logo
very prominently displayed as well as appearing in their carousel of changing images.
You might be wondering, how did they do that?
The answer can be found in the
MeL Promotion & Training section at
MeL.org.
Resources there include “Everything MeL”, “MeL Discovery Widget”, “MeL Toolbars, Widgets and Helper Applications”, “MeL.org Logo Buttons”, and “QR Code for MeL”.
These tools are freely available for you to use to make finding MeL and MeLCat by your patrons as easy as possible.
Thanks to the libraries who already include MeL on your website, and for those who don’t yet, take a look and see what will work for you.
MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan. Want more information on MeL? Stay tuned for next week’s MeL Minute available
on many Michigan library listservs, email us at
contact@mel.org or visit
mel.org. We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
