We've had Cirque Amongus visit several times over the past dozen years and they never fail to provide an excellent program. This is true of their performance format and their workshop format which entails 10 circus acts that kids get to try out. It's the quintessential hands-on (heck, body-on!) experience. The staff is professional, engaging, and easy to work with. They show up with lots of great equipment (even a trapeze!) and the kids have a blast! If yours is a small library like mine, consider asking your school to allow you to use their gym...that's where we scheduled them last week. Adult volunteers are needed to run the stations with the help of the Cirque Amongus crew, but it's totally worth the time it might take to round them up. http://cirqueamongus.com/ Thanks, Colleen Colleen Leddy, Director Stair District Library 228 W.
