The call for proposals for the 2018 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Library Conference is open through Monday, October 16. Submit your session proposal online at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RLC2018. The theme of the 2018 conference is Open Doors, Open Minds, celebrating diversity and inclusion in libraries. We are particularly interested in proposals covering the
providing of services to: Teens, Seniors, the Hearing Impaired, Diverse Populations or any population group.
The conference will be held April 30-May 2, 2018 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan. The conference is a specially crafted to reach the informational needs of small and rural library staff throughout Michigan. The three-day
event features exhibitors, awards, keynote speakers and an array of sessions geared to libraries serving small and rural communities.
The lead presenter of all accepted proposal will receive free registration and one night’s lodging at the Grand Traverse Resort!
