Google is offering
the RISE program to support & connect not-for-profit organizations (such as public libraries) around the world to increase equity in computer science education with a focus on girls, minorities who are historically underrepresented in the field, and youth
from low-income communities.

RISE Awards include:
o
Capacity building: Access to a 12-month capacity building
program that connects awardees with Google expertise
o
Financial support: Grants of $10,000-$25,000
o
Operational support: Customized to the needs of the organization,
such as volunteers or pro bono consulting
o
A community of practice: Continued peer engagement through
a community of practice connects awardees, alumni, and beyond so that communities around the world can learn from best practices and lessons learned
