Hello Friends,
The next FOML Workshop will be held this Fall with the theme "Knowledge is Power: Managing Your Friends Group for Optimal Friend-ly Service" and it's coming up on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at the Kalamazoo Public Library!
Topics include:
- "Knowledge Is Power - Helping Your Friends Achieve Maximum Results" - a panel discussion with Allison Arnold, Darnell Gundy-Reed and Jennifer Kundak
- "What Can the Archives of Michigan Offer You?" by Kris Rzepczynski, our State Archivist
- and the opportunity to share your success stories with "Talk About Friends - What Knowledge Can You Share?"
These workshops are a great time to network with other Friends groups, tour the Kalamazoo Public Library Central Branch, and spend a day learning how to support your library!
Registration will open soon at
www.foml.org. We will also have registration forms in the upcoming FOML newsletter.
The Trustee Alliance workshop, with special guest speaker Josie Parker, will be held the next day on Friday, October 14th.
Remember, 2016 FOML members receive a discount. Here's the
membership form. And if you attend BOTH workshops, you save even more.
I hope to see you at the FOML Friends Fall Workshop!
